Approach

Maham is a final-year graduate student in the Clinical and Mental Health Counseling program at the University of Houston-Victoria (Katy Campus). She employs a variety of therapeutic approaches, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of her clients. These methods include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, and others, allowing her to offer a comprehensive and personalized therapeutic experience.

Understanding that taking the first step toward therapy can be daunting, Maham strives to create an environment that is not only professional but also warm, inviting, and free from judgment. Whether you are dealing with stress, facing life transitions, or simply seeking personal growth, she is here to support you on your path to wellbeing!

Personal/Cultural Info

Coming from a Pakistani background, Maham has a deep appreciation for her culture, its vibrant traditions, and the strong sense of community it fosters. When she is not studying or in the therapy room, Maham enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, working out, going to the movies, and reading.

These personal interests and her cultural background contribute to her holistic approach to counseling, where she values and incorporates the diverse experiences and perspectives of her clients.
