Elizabeth Sheppard - LPC Intern, CCTP

Elizabeth received her graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Houston. Elizabeth’s goal is to foster a sincere and empathetic relationship with clients in a safe space, these things are essential to client progress. Elizabeth uses an integrated approach to therapy, incorporating some Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Adlerian and solution focused approaches. Elizabeth has worked with couples using The Gottman Method, which helps couples learn healthy communication skills to better navigate conflict. She has also volunteered with San Antonio ISD working with teenagers during major life transitions. These experiences led her to work with couples and young adults, but has shaped a desire to work with children, young adults, parents and individuals.
