Symptoms of trauma can present differently throughout development, and since adult clients who have a history of trauma can also get stuck at a certain developmental age it is important to understand trauma symptoms throughout development. This training will help you understand how trauma unfolds from in-utero and beyond and how the nervous system adapts to that trauma. This is a foundational trauma course that will help you learn grounding, stabilization, and nervous system regulation techniques for both big T trauma and small t traumas. This training will look at trauma and neuroception in the play therapy room and the therapy room. Whether you are a play therapist or an adult therapist this trauma training will help you understand how trauma impacts development and how to help client’s create growth within your therapy session.
