Specializing in complex trauma, personality disorders, addiction, PTSD, depression, and anxiety, Jana brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her practice. Utilizing a direct and holistic approach, Jana integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and somatic techniques to address deep-rooted wounds and facilitate healing. She has dedicated her work to helping countless survivors of sexual, physical, and emotional abuse, as well as survivors of life-threatening incidents and illnesses. With a focus on empowering clients to access their innate wisdom and resilience, she guides them through the process of self-discovery and transformation.
Specialty
Jana is also committed to helping train the next generation of therapists in her work as both a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and as a consultant for EMDR. She is dedicated to sharing her expertise and supporting other therapists in their professional development, as well as advancing the field of trauma therapy.
Personal
Outside of her professional endeavors, Jana enjoys spending time outdoors and finds joy in travel, a yoga practice, reading, and listening to all types of music (with a soft spot for 70s music!). She is married with two children, a college student and an elementary school aged step-daughter. Her family stays busy with a goldendoodle and two sweet cats.
Having lived overseas, Jana understands the challenges of adjusting to new cultures and environments. She brings a unique perspective to her work, offering culturally sensitive support to clients navigating transitions and identity issues.
